Recovery Kit for Load Balancer Health Check Administration Guide

Overview

The Recovery Kit for Load Balancer Health Check provides a mechanism to listen and respond to health check probes to load balancing target instances of load balancers in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure (“Azure”) , Google Cloud™ and AWS Network Load Balancer.

This document describes the details of the operation of the Recovery Kit for Load Balancer Health Check. Please refer to the LifeKeeper for Linux Technical Documentation for general LifeKeeper terminology, usage, etc.

Please note that the functions described in this document are not guaranteed to work successfully in all environments.

*IAM roles are not required for the Recovery Kit for Load Balancer Health Check in AWS.

Prerequisites

• Recovery Kit for Load Balancer Health Check is not available for LifeKeeper Single Server Protection.

• Only TCP is supported as the probe protocol.
