After creating the resource hierarchy on the primary server, it needs to be extended to the standby server in the cluster. In LKWMC, the resource hierarchy can be extended from the primary server to the standby server using the following steps.
- In the left pane menu, select Resource > Resource Tree to display the Resource Tree screen.
- Display the Resource Hierarchy Extension dialog using one of the following three methods.
- Select Extend Resource Hierarchy from the Operations dropdown at the top of the screen.
- Display the context menu for the Resource Hierarchies column of the resource you want to extend, or for the column of a server that already has resources created, and select Extend Resource Hierarchy.
- Click EXTEND RESOURCE HIERARCHY upon completing the creation of the JP1/AJS resource.
- Navigate through the following pages: ① [Select a server and a resource to extend] > ② [Pre-Extend Checks] > ③ [Additional Settings] > ④ [Confirm] > ⑤ [Result] . This process involves entering the parameters required for resource extension and completing the resource extension itself. The descriptions of the input fields on each page are as follows.

The information entered, selected, or displayed on the ① [Select a server and a resource to extend] and ③ [Additional Settings] pages will be shown.
This information cannot be modified.

The extension process will begin, and the progress and results of the extension process will be output.
