SAP MaxDB Configuration Considerations

This section contains information that you should consider before you start to configure and administer the SAP MaxDB Recovery Kit.

*Your database configuration directory must be replicated or be kept in sync between the primary node and secondary node manually or by some other means. If the database configuration information does not match on both nodes, the secondary will be unable to take over in the event that the primary goes down.
