NFS LifeKeeper does not support NFS loop back configurations where a server exports a file system and mounts the exported file system on the same system. An error message is logged if the unsupported configuration is detected during install/update or creation of an NFS resource.
LVM The LVM device file feature added in RHEL9 is supported.
SAP HANA The SAP HANA Recovery Kit now supports multi-target system replication to up to three secondary replication sites.

SLES 15 SP4 is now supported (certified in Jan 2023). To install LifeKeeper on SLES 15 SP 4 follow the instructions here that require downloading lk-sles15sp4-support and running ‘setup —addinfo lk-sles15sp4-support’. Note: Kernel 5.14.21-150400.24.21.2 or higher is required.
Added support for Azure Shared Disk using the new steeleye-lkSCSI3 Recovery Kit. The SCSI3 Recovery kit adds support for SCSI-3 Persistent Reservation for single path devices using the Linux SD subsystem (/dev/sd device nodes). This kits allows reliable locking for Microsoft Azure Shared Disks in a LifeKeeper cluster with shared storage.

LifeKeeper LB Health Check Kit The LifeKeeper LB (Load Balancer) Health Check Kit replaces the Generic Load Balancer (GenLB) Recovery Kit. The GenLB recovery kit was a collection of action scripts available for download for 9.6.1 to be used with a generic application (gen/app) resource. The GenLB kit has been migrated to a full ARK for ease of use.
  • The Generic Load Balancer (GenLB) Recovery Kit is not supported for new deployments with v9.6.2 or later
  • SIOS will provide only KBA (Knowledge Based Article) support for configurations upgrading to v9.6.2 but continuing to use the GenLB Kit
  • Support for v9.6.1 using the Generic Load balancer RK for customers with valid support
  • SIOS strongly recommends upgrading to v9.6.2 and upgrading to the new LifeKeeper LB Health Check Kit
