!A HANA Multi-tier replication configuration is not supported with LifeKeeper.
*Note: The operating system and configuration used in your SAP HANA deployment must be supported by SAP, SIOS, and your infrastructure provider (public/private cloud or on-premise). Consult SAP’s Product Availability Matrix (PAM) and SAP Note 2235581 (SAP HANA: Supported Operating Systems) in order to determine which operating systems are supported for various versions of SAP HANA.
*As of LifeKeeper for Linux v9.7.0, the SAP HANA Recovery Kit supports Multitarget HSR configurations with up to four cluster nodes (one primary database server replicating to up to three secondary servers) which delivers protection from downtime/disasters for additional nodes in DR locations without the need for complex scripting or cumbersome administration tasks.
*Due to changes in the structure of SAP HANA resources in LifeKeeper v9.7.0, SAP HANA resources in v9.7.0 are incompatible with equivalent resources in previous versions. This compatibility issue is resolved automatically by LifeKeeper once all cluster nodes have been successfully upgraded to v9.7.0, but SAP HANA resources may behave unexpectedly if resource failures occur in the middle of a rolling upgrade procedure. For this reason, SIOS strongly recommends users to create lkbackup archives on each cluster node hosting an SAP HANA resource before upgrading to v9.7.0 or later. See SAP HANA – Known Issues / Restrictions and lkbackup for more information.

SAP HANA 2.0 SPS04, SPS05, SPS06, SPS07 |
*Note: Versions prior to SAP HANA 2.0 SPS04 are not supported by the LifeKeeper SAP HANA Recovery Kit.
*NOTE: Operating system versions built for enhanced SAP support (such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux for SAP Business Applications, Red Hat Enterprise Linux for SAP Solutions, Red Hat Enterprise Linux for SAP HANA, and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications) are also supported as long as the running Linux kernel version is the same as one of the supported OS versions listed above.
Supported configurations for protecting application server components of SAP NetWeaver or S/4HANA can be found on the LifeKeeper for SAP Solution Page.
