Deleting a Resource Hierarchy

There are two ways to delete a resource hierarchy.

• Click the Operations button in the Resource Tree and select Delete Resource Hierarchy from the drop-down menu.

• In the Resource Tree , right-click the resource to delete and select Delete Resource Hierarchy from the context menu.

*Deleting a resource hierarchy while it is still in-service may cause services to remain running unexpectedly and may block access to some system resources. To prevent issues like this, take the entire resource hierarchy out of service on all nodes prior to deleting it.

Both of these options will bring up a confirmation dialog to verify that the expected resource hierarchy will be deleted. Clicking Delete in the confirmation dialog will delete the resource hierarchy.
