The table below lists and explains names and meanings of the NFS parameters. These values are tuned by editing the /etc/default/LifeKeeper configuration file.
Parameter Name | Meaning | Setting Value | Default Value | When to Apply | Notes |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
RESTARTMOUNTD | Enables the stop and restart of rpc.mount on all NFS restores. | true: enabled false: disabled |
true | As required (takes effect immediately) | |
NFSEXPORTFSTIMER | Specifies the amount of time in seconds to wait for determining whether the exportfs command has hung. If the exportfs command does not complete within the time specified with this parameter, it is determined to have hung. Then a TERM signal is sent to the process calling the exportfs command and its children, and a KILL signal is sent to the process that still has not terminated. | Integer | 30 | As required (takes effect immediately) |
