Error When Attempting to Run LifeKeeper for Windows Command From Command Prompt

Symptom

When attempting to run a LifeKeeper for Windows command from a command prompt, you receive the following error:

[File:lock.CLine:1610] Win32 Error: 2
CRITICAL (No. 472) Can’t run this application without LCD Daemon running.

Solution

LifeKeeper for Windows commands require “console” rights to run. When the LifeKeeper for Windows core is running on Server 2008 or later, invoke Remote Desktop connections with the “/admin” switch.

e.g. %SystemRoot%\system32\mstsc.exe/console

You may also run the LifeKeeper for Windows command from the command prompt on the LifeKeeper for Windows system itself.
