During an upgrade, the GUI shows the incorrect state for the target server

Description

During the upgrade process from a LifeKeeper version prior to 8.10.1 to version 8.10.1 or newer, the GUI will display an error. The target server(s) status incorrectly shows as “UNKNOWN” instead of the actual status. This is a GUI error only - the underlying cluster components are not impacted.

Suggested Action

Run ins_list -d <other node> on the target server to get the correct status. If the status shows OSU/SEC_ISP, proceed with the upgrade. The server state will show the correct status after the upgrade.
