The Oracle Recovery Kit supports the TDE (Transparent Data Encryption) provided by the Oracle database to the extent that the following requirements are met:

  • Oracle is installed on the local drive (C: drive in this document)
  • The encrypted data area is placed on a drive protected by the volume resource (shared disk or mirror disk; D: drive in this document)
  • Use the same replicated software keystore on both servers and place it on each local drive (C: drive in this document)
  • Configure a Local Auto-login Keystore for both server’s software keystore
