Description
If the DELETEMIRROR command fails during switchover of a replicated volume, the following error message will display in the Output panel:
*WARNING* (No. 12104) Delete mirror action for volume R: failed with status 51 (command=C:/SDR/EMCmd10.10.1.2 DELETEMIRROR R: 10.10.1.1)
Refer to the table below for the Error Status number, description and recommended action. You can also use the following command to obtain more information about the error status:
Command: net helpmsg {status}
Example: net helpmsg 51
Permission issues on the current SOURCE are not allowing the mirror to be deleted. | Check both systems for permission differences that may exclude the Local System Account from accessing the mirrored volume. | |
Mismatched user/password combination between systems. This will probably only occur if running DELETEMIRROR from the command prompt. | Use a domain account or make sure the local user accounts you are signing on with have the same password. | |
Windows cannot find the network path. | Make sure all network cards in both systems have File & Print Sharing for Microsoft Networks checked. | |
Cannot access the IP Address specified. | Verify your network configuration (including HOSTS files and DNS) are all resolving the IP address consistently. | |
The ring 2 stack is in use. | Make sure all the network cards in both systems have Client for Microsoft Networks checked. |
