After creating the resource hierarchy on the primary server, you need to extend it to the standby servers in the cluster. For instructions on extending a resource hierarchy using LKWMC, refer to Extending a Resource Hierarchy in the LKWMC documentation. The required input information for each screen is as follows:
① [Select a server and a resource to expand]

| Primary Server | Specify the primary server. Depending on the procedure used to display Extending a Resource Hierarchy , this field may be read-only (cannot be changed). If it is editable, select the server from the drop-down menu. |
| Resource | Specify the HULFT resource to extend. Depending on the procedure used to display Extending a Resource Hierarchy , this field may be read-only (cannot be changed). If it is editable, select the resource to extend from the drop-down menu. |
| Primary Priority | The priority of the primary resource hierarchy is displayed. If there are dependent resources, this resource must have the same priority as those resources. |
| Standby Server | Select the target server for extension from the drop-down menu. |
| Standby Priority | Specify the priority of the standby resource hierarchy. If there are dependent resources, this resource must have the same priority as those resources. |
② [Pre-Extend Checks]

| Information Box | LifeKeeper performs a pre-validation check before extending the HULFT resource hierarchy. If LifeKeeper detects a problem, an error appears in the information box. |
③ [Additional Settings]

| Switchback type | Specify how the HULFT resource hierarchy is switched back to this server when it recovers after a failover to a standby server.Select either INTELLIGENT or AUTOMATIC. For details, refer to Intelligent Versus Automatic Switchback. |
| Resource | This is the source resource for the extension. The resource tag of the specified HULFT resource is displayed. |
| HULFT Resource Tag | This is the target resource tag for the extension. The same tag name as the resource tag of the source HULFT resource is displayed. This tag cannot be changed for HULFT resources. |
④ [Confirm]
The information entered or selected on the [Select a server and a resource to expand] and [Additional Settings] pages is displayed. This information cannot be modified.
⑤ [Result]
The resource extension process begins, and the progress information and results are displayed.
