Disabling the FTP Connection Checking Process

If the protected FTP site does not permit anonymous logins and you prefer not to use a login script as described in Using an FTP Login Script, you may disable the connection checking process for a particular LifeKeeper protected resource.

Connection checking can be disabled by selection during resource creation or by changing properties.

The same effect can also be achieved by disabling the deep check, since the connection checking is performed by the deep check.

To disable deep check, change the directory to the LifeKeeper “bin” folder and use the following LifeKeeper command.

cd <LifeKeeper Root Install Folder>\bin
ins_setchkint –t <LifeKeeper Resource Tag Name> -c d –v 0
