Logs

*This documentation section describes the LifeKeeper Web Management Console (LKWMC). Refer to the LifeKeeper Web Management Console for an overview.

Clicking Logs in the left menu will display the LifeKeeper logs for each server in the cluster. The most recent log messages for the specified Local Server are shown in chronological order, up to the specified maximum number of lines.

• Local Server - Select the server from which to obtain LifeKeeper log messages.

• Entering text in the search box filters the results to only display log messages that contain the search term.

• Changing the value of Lines in the log table will limit the maximum number of log messages that appear in the results.

• Clicking the Download icon will download the currently displayed log messages to the system running the LKWMC.

*Logs generated by the LKWMC can be found at /var/log/lkwmc.log on the node running the lifekeeper-wmc service.
