LB Health Check Kit Administration Guide

Overview

The LB Health Check Kit provides a mechanism to listen and respond to health check probes to load balancing target instances of load balancers in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure (“Azure”) and Google Cloud™.

This document describes the details of the operation of the LB Health Check Kit. Please refer to the LifeKeeper for Linux Technical Documentation for general LifeKeeper terminology, usage, etc.

Please note that the functions described in this document are not guaranteed to work successfully in all environments.

Prerequisites

• LB Health Check Kit is not available for LifeKeeper Single Server Protection.

• Only TCP is supported as the probe protocol.

• Please see the Release Notes and the LifeKeeper for Linux Support Matrix for supported operating systems and configurations.
