Next, create a resource for the Oracle Pluggable database.
- Click on the [Create Resource Hierarchy] icon to begin resource creation.
- The Create Resource wizard will open. Select [Oracle Pluggable Database] for the Recovery Kit in the dropdown menu and click [Next].
- In the Create Resource wizard, enter the following values.

- Creation of the Oracle Pluggable Database resource will begin.
- If the message “End of successful Create of…” is displayed, then it is successful. Click [Next] to move to the Pre-Extend Wizard.
- Enter the following values.

- Pre-Extend will begin. If “Pre Extend checks were successful” is displayed, it is successful. Click [Next] to continue.
- When the Extend database/pdb Resource wizard appears, click [Extend].
- Extend is started. If the message “Hierarchy successful extended” is displayed, it is successful. Click [Finish].
- Press [Done] to exit the wizard.
- The Oracle Database resource has been created.
