Disable the Firewall

*The following commands must be executed for each node.

In this section we will disable the firewalld service to install SIOS Protection Suite for Linux. The firewall can be left active but the ports required by SIOS Protection Suite and the application you are protecting will have to be configured (not shown here).

Steps to Disable firewalld

Disable firewalld using the following steps.

1. Check the current status.

!If the following is displayed (indicating that firewalld is not installed), steps 2 and 3 can be skipped.

2. Stop and disable firewalld.

3. Confirm that it is disabled.
