Recovery Kit for Route53 – Known Issues / Restrictions

Description
On SLES 16, Route53 resource creation may error out when selecting the “Required Settings” due to “Flake launch has failed”

Issue:
LifeKeeper does not support the use of Flake-based AWS CLI.

Solution:
Remove the Flake-aws installation from the system and install the AWS CLI v2 directly from AWS.

The Flake installation of the AWS CLI can be removed by running this command:
flake-ctl podman remove --app <path to aws>

To install the latest version of the AWS CLI please follow the steps outlined here:
