Create a virtual network for the new environment. We will create a single address space and two subnets here. One subnet is used for services, and the other for LifeKeeper for Windows communication paths and replication.

  1. Select Azure Home > Virtual networks > Add and enter the required value according to the following table.

  1. Click Next: IP Addresses.

  1. Click +Add subnet

  1. Enter the details for the first subnet on the dialog that appears on the right, then click Add on the bottom right.

  1. The new subnet (sios20sub1) will appear. Click Next: Security.

  1. Leave everything as-is and click Next: Tags.

  1. Leave this blank and click Next: Review + create.

  1. Click Create.

  1. When sios20vnet and sios20sub1 are created and the creation process is completed, the following window is displayed.

  1. Click Azure Home > Virtual networks > sios20vnet, then click Settings > Subnets in the left pane.

  1. Click +Subnet.

  1. Enter the following details and click Save.
