You can unextend an IIS Site resource hierarchy using one of the following methods:
- From the Resource Tree screen, click Operations and select Unextend Resource Hierarchy.
- Right-click the IIS Site resource in the resource tree and select Unextend Resource Hierarchy from the context menu.
To unextend an IIS Site resource hierarchy, perform the following steps:
- From the Server dropdown list, select the backup server on which you want to unextend the IIS Site resource hierarchy. Important: Servers hosting active IIS Site resources cannot be selected.
- From the Resource Hierarchy dropdown list, select the IIS Site resource to unextend, and then click Confirm.
- A confirmation screen appears showing the selected target server and IIS Site resource hierarchy. Review the information, and then click Unextend.
- When the operation completes, the IIS Site resource hierarchy is unextended and the execution log and results are displayed. Click Close to complete the unextension process.
