The table below lists and explains names and meanings of the Recovery Kit for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (RK for OCI) parameters. These values are tuned by editing the %LKROOT%\Etc\default\LifeKeeper configuration file.

The parameters of RK for OCI will take effect immediately. Restarting LifeKeeper is not required.

LK_CURL_ATTEMPT_NUM Specifies the maximum number of attempts to retrieve metadata. Increasing this parameter exponentially increases the maximum time required to retrieve metadata. When increasing this parameter, please increase the quick check interval and quick check timeout accordingly. Integers (>0) 4
