Deleting a JP1/AJS Resource Hierarchy

The procedure for deleting the JP1/AJS resource hierarchy by LKWMC is as follows:

*Note: The following procedure deletes the target JP1/AJS resource and all dependent child resource hierarchies. If there are child resource hierarchies that must remain protected, you must delete their dependency relationships with the JP1/AJS resource before deleting it. Perform this action as required.

1. Select Resource > Resource Tree from the left pane menu to open the Resource Tree screen.
2. Display the Delete Resource Hierarchy dialog using one of the following methods.
   1. Select Delete Resource Hierarchy from the Operations dropdown at the top of the screen. (proceed to step 3)
   2. Select Delete Resource Hierarchy from the context menu in the Resource Hierarchies column of the JP1/AJS resource hierarchy in the resource tree. (proceed to step 3)
   3. Select Delete Resource Hierarchy from the context menu in the server column of the JP1/AJS resource hierarchy in the resource tree. (proceed to step 4)
3. The [Select] page appears.
   1. The Server field shows the server you are currently logged into. Since the deletion process is executed on all servers in the cluster, there is no need to make any changes here.
   2. Under Resource Hierarchy, select the JP1/AJS resource hierarchy that you want to delete. By default, if you follow step 2.a, no item is selected. If you follow step 2.b, the JP1/AJS resource hierarchy that was used to display the context menu is pre-selected.
   3. Click CONFIRM.
4. The [Confirm] page appears. Review the displayed information, which reflects the server and JP1/AJS resource hierarchy used in step 2.c or the settings specified in step 3. If the information is correct, click DELETE.
5. Proceed to the [Execute] page. The progress for the deletion process will be displayed. Wait for the deletion process to complete.
6. You will be redirected to the [Results] page. The processing results will be displayed on the screen.
7. Click CLOSE to close the Delete Resource Hierarchy dialog.
