Create an LB Health Check resource.
- In the LifeKeeper GUI, create an LB Health Check resource. Click Create Resource Hierarchy (the green + button).

- Follow the prompts to enter the details as described in the following tables.

*Note: The LB Health Check Resource Tag defaults to lbhc-<port>. The Gen-LB tag is used here to match the other examples.

Troubleshooting
| The LB Health Check resource will NOT come in service. | The IP address has to be configured on the NIC first so that the LB Health Check resource will have a dependency on the virtual IP address. |
