1. Select the job in the left Console Tree pane of the main DataKeeper window.
  1. You can select Delete Job from the Actions pane or right-click on the selected job and choose Delete Job from the menu that displays.
  1. Select Yes to delete the selected job and associated mirror(s).

Note: For the DataKeeper GUI. In the Console Tree, the Mirror (Center Panel) and the Action Panel, the following actions are NOT Available /Greyed-Out as depicted below:

The reason these tasks are not available is because the DataKeeper Mirror is now a Resource that belongs to Windows Failover Clustering or LifeKeeper and administration of the Mirror now resides with the cluster i.e. Move (WSFC) = Switchover Mirrors or In-Service (LifeKeeper)

As for the Delete Job or Switchover Mirrors actions, a user can:

  1. Remove the DataKeeper Volume from the cluster . . . Windows Server Failover Cluster or LifeKeeper
  1. Then return to the DataKeeper GUI and now the Switchover Mirrors, Delete Job and Delete Mirror are NOW Available

Other considerations if you’re trying to maintain High Availability of your Clustered Resources, you can:

  • Recreate the mirror but retain the existing job see our documentation on CREATEMIRROR
