Activating your SIOS iQ 30-Day trial License

After registering at us.sios.com you can activate your SIOS iQ 30-day trial standard edition license at us.sios.com/iq/cta/activation. After 30 days, if you choose not to purchase SIOS iQ, your license will change to our limited feature SIOS iQ free edition. You may purchase SIOS iQ standard edition at any time.

Activating your SIOS iQ standard License

  1. Install the SIOS iQ product
  2. Locate and copy the Instance ID that is displayed after logging in to the product (you will need this during license activation)
  3. Go to support.us.sios.com and select Manage Licenses
  4. Log in and enter your Entitlement ID that you received in your product delivery email

  1. Select Manage Entitlements
  2. Check the box to the left of the product that you want to license
  3. Select the Activate button, enter the requested information including the Instance ID (found in SIOS iQ > Settings > About SIOS iQ) in the Serial Number field and click Next
  4. Select Add New Host, select “Any” for the Node Locked Host choice
  5. Check the box to the left of the Host and click Generate
  6. Check the box to the left of the fulfillment ID and click the Email License button
  7. Enter an email address to send the license to and click Send

You will receive an email with the license file attached.

Installing your SIOS iQ standard License

  1. Save the license file that was attached to your license email to your local system
  2. The first time you log in to SIOS iQ you will automatically land on the license screen
  3. Browse to the location of your saved license file
  4. Click Activate
  5. Click Close

Recovering your SIOS iQ standard License

  1. Go to support.us.sios.com and select Manage Licenses
  2. Log in
  3. Select Manage Licenses
  4. Check the box to the left of the Fulfillment ID that you want to recover and click the Email License button
  5. Enter an email address to send the license to and click Send

You will receive an email with the license file attached.

Number of Hosts Exceeded

SIOS iQ monitors the number of hosts specified in the license. If the number of hosts exceeds the limit, SIOS iQ displays a warning. The user must upgrade the number of hosts included in the license within 30 days. If the license is not upgraded SIOS iQ will automatically downgrade from SIOS iQ standard edition to SIOS iQ free edition (some features will no longer be available).
